How to redeem

Buy a participating MW4 co-branded Monster Energy can and lift the pull tab to read the code underneath.
Log in or create a Monster Energy account at callofduty.monsterenergy.com (registration sends an SMS verification).
Enter the tab code. Each can counts as one point and issues the matching DLC code.
Go to www.callofduty.com/redeem, log in to your Activision account, enter the DLC code, and link the account to the platform you actually play on (PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox on PC, Battle.net, Steam or Nintendo Switch 2).
Items redeemed before launch are banked on the Activision account and become usable when the game launches on October 23, 2026.

How the 2XP limits work

Every can is worth 15 minutes of 2XP, but two caps apply: a maximum of one hour of 2XP per day and 40 hours in total (160 cans × 15 minutes). You also receive only one 2XP code per day regardless of how many cans you upload that day. Official Dual 2XP redemptions split into separate 2XP and Weapon 2XP tokens, each capped at 40 hours per account.

Early-bird bonus: upload your first code before October 23

Uploading your first tab code between September 1 and October 22, 2026 also grants a Monster Energy weapon sticker and emblem for Black Ops 7, redeemable by October 22, 2026. Separately, uploading any valid tab code between October 23 and October 25, 2026 earns one bonus 2XP token (one per participant).

When redemption fails: the official position

Error while entering a tab code: contact Monster Energy support rather than retrying past the three-attempt limit.
2XP code redeemed but nothing in game: restart the game first; DLC content only appears after the October 23, 2026 launch and in Warzone from Season 01 onward, on the same linked account.

Codes from older promotions: official sources state that only codes from this 2026–2027 Monster Energy x Modern Warfare 4 promotion are valid; 2XP codes from previous Call of Duty promotions cannot be used.

What a Beta code actually was

Activision defines it as a Beta Early Access registration code, not a universal activation key for the full game. For a physical preorder, the retailer would normally print the code on a receipt or send it by email. Some eligible promotional campaigns could also distribute one. A digital preorder through Xbox, PlayStation, Battle.net, Steam, or the Call of Duty Store attached eligibility directly to the purchasing account.

A Beta code and a Beta token were also different items. After an Early Access code was registered, Activision sent a platform token to the account email; the redeem page could also show its status. The selected region had to match the platform account’s region, and the selected platform had to be the one the player actually intended to use.

How to redeem a Beta code officially

Open Call of Duty Beta redeem, then sign in to or create an Activision account.
Enter the 10- or 13-character code from the physical preorder receipt, retailer email, or confirmed promotion.
Choose the platform you will use and the region that matches that platform account.
Submit the code, confirm that redemption succeeded, and check the Activision account email or token status on the redeem page.
When the platform token arrives, use it only in the selected platform’s store or client and download the Beta client there.

Digital-preorder players should not keep searching for a physical code. Check the order and account entitlement on the purchasing platform, then confirm whether the Beta client was added to the library.

Lost, invalid, or missing codes and tokens

If a receipt code was missing, unreadable, or reported as invalid, contact the retailer that issued it first. If the wrong platform or region was selected, use Activision Support to check the redemption account rather than buying a supposed replacement code. Never give an Activision password to a redemption service or buy an unverifiable key from a forum.

Because the 2026 public Beta has ended, even a correctly formatted old code does not prove that it can still be redeemed or grants access to the full release. A full-game digital purchase, a platform gift card, and a Beta Early Access code are separate products and entitlements.

Why the 10% discount is not a coupon code

The official Xbox and PlayStation store information describes a 10% Vault Edition preorder loyalty discount for eligible returning Call of Duty players. Eligibility generally requires owning and playing a specified Call of Duty title released since 2019 on the same platform account.
